Innovation projects of the Industrial Group UPEC

Machine-building has always been and will be a hi-tech industry. To successfully realize strategic targets the UPEC has taken course towards the development based on innovations. Hi-tech products with a big part of intellectual component will become in future the basis of the Industrial Group product line.

We created the biggest in our region engineering centre where the best representatives of Kharkov science and engineering school are gathered. This allowed us to realize a number of innovation projects of the world level, some of them are under trial operation.

For our Company this means a serious step in realization of strategy of transformation into a client-oriented engineering industrial group. Products with high added value begin to supplement the product line of the UPEC which ensures essentially new level of company’s profits.

This creates the basis for further development of the Industrial Group and raising social standards – improving conditions of work and increase of employees’ salaries.

  • Development and implementation into industrial production of a new generation of high resource energy-efficient bearings of cassette type for the railway transport.

  • Development of electrically driven gas-pumping units of new generation based on up-to-date highly efficient compressor stages and high-rotation electric motors with high-capacity energy-stores for updating gas- transportation system of Ukraine.

  • Building a new generation of highly efficient hi-tech climate-supporting equipment (including Freon-free refrigerating equipment and air-to-air heat pumps).

  • Development and industrial output of roll-grinding machines and heavy cylindrical grinders of new generation with multi-level feedback and elements of artificial intelligence.

  • Creation of hybrid transmissions for up-to-date tractors of 150–300 h.p. (hydraulic space monoblock unit, electromechanical transmission, motor-wheel).

  • Organization of up-to-date production of large and medium-size castings.

  • Creation of the integrated medium of automation of engineering designs for enterprises of the Industrial Group UPEC (largest in Eastern Europe project of creating CAD/CAE/CAM/PLM-system based on software platform РТС).
